"We recently undertook a major renovation of our 1935 character home in Timaru with Nolan Building Ltd. The renovation brief was very technical with nearly all of the home rebuilt doubling the original footprint. The basement level was excavated to allow a self-contained apartment. The terrain was sloping and the site was restricted with residential homes near the boundary on all sides. The work took more than 12 months to complete which we expected from initial discussions. During all steps of the process, we were in awe of the skill set and workmanship of the builders. Every element of the build was completed to the highest standard with detailed thought processes behind every decision. We were able to be very involved with the build with weekly catch up’s which we really enjoyed. Dan and Kay were excellent communicators and were always available. The project management was first-rate. The costs were relayed weekly and the budget estimate was regularly revised so we had an indication of the total cost ahead of time. We think Nolan Building Ltd are the best builders in our region and would highly recommend them to anyone requiring building work.

This was our second time building with Nolan Building. We used one of Nolan Buildings website plans to work from as a starting point for our new plans.
What we wanted this time round was quite different from our first build but we found the team at Nolan Building was able to listen to the idea and brought it to life for us. "Our experience with Nolan Building was outstanding. This was our first build and Nolan Building made it as easy and stress free as possible. We received quotes from 4 different building companies. How Dan and Kaylene engaged and showed interest in our project really amazed us. Our house build started a bit late due to Covid-19 Level 4 lockdown. However, Dan and his team made sure that they finished the project as close to time as possible.
